Who's upset about Kerry? and other stuff

From all the furor from the right about Kerry's comment about Cheney's daughter's sexual preference wasn't a choice, I am amazed that I haven't heard any gay groups come out against the Democratic nominee. Considering there are plenty of gay activists that support the Greens or Nader, and Kerry does have an anti-gay stance (he doesn't condone gay marriage), you would think someone would come out on the side of the Cheney camp. Maybe it's because it wasn't that big of a deal and they don't believe the Republicans can be sincere about being upset with that Constitutional Amendment still out there.

I have newfound respect for Wyclef Jean. He fired up the troops at the Atlantic City rally in support of the UNITE HERE Local 54 workers striking for a contract. I was especially impressed by his performing in multiple languages, that's just something you don't see from many mainstream American performers. The local folks did a great job organizing the thousands that showed up in support of the strike and marched on the casinos. There are some decent places that have given their workers a contract, though: Trump (all his properties), Sands and Borgata.

Did I mention that you need to vote on November 2nd?
