Choosing an Installation Method

If you booted directly from the Red Hat Linux CD-ROM, you'll see the Welcome dialog: go to the section called Welcome to Red Hat Linux.

If you booted from a local boot disk or PCMCIA boot disk, insert the Red Hat Linux CD-ROM and then select Local CDROM (see Figure 6-3) and press Enter.
