Grabber support for Videoconferencing Tools for MBONE is available on Windows now .

The mbone tools have been ported to run on Windows 95 and Windows NT!

Original versions have been ported by John Brezak of HP and Van Jacobson of Lawrence Berkeley Labs. For more information about vic look at the vic home page. Our versions extends their capabilities by adding:

Before you download the code and expect to run it, please note:

Run:

Vat and vic can be run from command line or DOS session with the parameters [IP address]/[Port number]. Alternately, the session directory tool (sdr) can list the active mbone sessions and automatically launch vat and vic for you.

Another attempts at getting vic to capture was made by Isidor Kouvelas. Commercial MBONE software is available from Precept Software. Their tools are intended for the TV metaphor - you can't use them for conferencing. Similar commercial software is available from ICAST Communcations.
