January 15, 1992 This RARP server NLM is not formally supported by Novell at this time, it should not be construed as a released product. Our testing of this NLM has been limited, and while it appears to be very stable (doesn't do much, really), it is offered "as is". When RARPSERV.NLM is loaded, it reads information from two files: SYS:ETC\ETHERS SYS:ETC\HOSTS The format of ethers is: 00:00:1b:30:b5:7b node_name 00:00:1b:6e:78:23 node2_name The format of hosts is: 130.57.11.33 node_name alias1 alias2 130.57.11.34 node2_name The relationship between these two files and RARPSERV.NLM is crucial. RARPSERV.NLM will not accept an IP address directly from SYS:ETC/ETHERS.
