There are currently ongoing standardisation processes for conference control from both the ITU and the IETF. The MICE partners are participants in the IETF activity, which is closer aligned to the needs of the MICE project. As neither process has yet finished, we currently have an interim solution, but envisage aligning our software with that from one or both groups in time. This is not likely to be before late 1994 at the earliest.
