This document attempts to specify the Conference Management and Multiplexing Centre being designed and built for the MICE project in the Department of Computer Science at University College London. As the CMMC is intended to support a wide range of hardware, coding schemes, shared applications and so forth, this document cannot hope to describe all these in sufficient detail to allow the CMMC to be reproduced in an identical form. It will, however, describe the key protocols used, and the most important functional components of the CMMC.
