The corruption could lead to a system crash with the message "data fault" or "memory address alignment" or "crget". Install Instructions: As root install the sun4m patches as follows: mv /sys/sun4m/OBJ/nfs_sncsvr.o /sys/sun4m/OBJ/nfs_sncsvr.o_orig cp sun4m/nfs_sncsvr.o /sys/sun4m/OBJ chmod 444 /sys/sun4m/OBJ/nfs_sncsvr.o Then a new kernel will need to be made.
