Release date of version 4.1.1 : September 7, 1999
- This is a Single User version only, hence some features are disabled ( e.g. remote configuration, network file restrictions )
- By default the Unknown Application’s configuration is basically unrestricted. It
can be modified after the installation.
- Some Web browsers and e-mail clients require configuration changes to allow them to access additional resources.
- It is not recommended to use Custom installation of Secure4U unless you are familiar with Secure4U and
the Secure4U Administration Tool.
- There is a bug in some versions of Internet Explorer 5.0. These will not show a cookie dialog and therefore Secure4U will not handle the incoming cookies correctly. However the cookies will still be displayed and can be managed in the Cookie Editor.
- At the end of the installation, there is a InstallShield dialog displaying a prompt to reboot. On some systems, when prompting the reboot the InstallShield software will crash. However Secure4U is correctly installed. To avoid this problem please select don't reboot now and then reboot manually from the Start menu.
