    FAQ

    What is Web 'ed?

Web 'ed is a program that will easily allow you to build simple web pages with little or no experience.

    What is HTML?

HTML stands for "Hyper Text Markup Language". It is the universal coding that each and every web page contains and every browser understands. To see what it looks like, load this document in WEB 'ed.

    How To Use Web 'ed

    Working With Files

To begin editing a new web page, click File -> New or Ctrl+N or click the "New" button above the main editing box.

To open an existing file, click File -> Open or Ctrl+O or click the "Open" button above the main editing box.

Note: You must Open or Create a file before entering text in the main editing box.

To save a file, click File -> Save As... or Ctrl+S or click the "Save As..." button above the main editing box.(Note: Typing a new file name will create a new file. To save with the same name, enter the original filename and path.)

In the upper, left-hand corner of your screen, there should be a text box with 11 buttons next to it.
To create text effects on your page, type the text you want to see on your page, and press the button corresponding to the effect you want. The available styles are:
