The postscript docs give basic eamples of how to use Xpm
lib functions and includes transparent pixmap usage.
If you do not have access to a postscript printer just 
download the examples.tar.

Version 1.0 had several errors in the text which have been 
corrected, noteably the use of XpmFree which should have been
XFreePixmap (correct in the examples but not the document text).

??doc2.ps - this is page 5 and consists of screen dumps since
it is 800k you might want to leave this until you've seen
the rest of the document.
