CommandPrompt is a small company specializing in serving the needs of the small to medium size business. Our typical customer has under 100 workstations deployed and is in a growth phase.
As a company we are constantly striving to provide for our customer's needs and to build relationships with vendors that help our customers receive the treatment they deserve. As an example, we currently have relationships with two companies strongly related to the business needs of our customers; one specializing in business machines such as copiers and printers, and the other in large-scale, commercial printing.
These relationships allow us to confidently recommend vendors that will treat our customers right and save them money.
CommandPrompt has experience in deployment of 65-user, raw implementation, Thin Client/Citrix networks as well as developing high-end E-Commerce websites utilizing dynamic technologies such as SQL and batch updating. We also have several of our own custom designed, non-proprietary products including a line of Internet Routers, Mail Servers and Thin Clients.
CommandPrompt enjoys all levels of technical challenges and strives to perform at a level beyond the expectation of every customer.
CommandPrompt is very active in the Linux community and helps maintain several key Linux websites and projects. One of these projects is the Linux Documentation Project, the central repository for all documentation on the Linux OS. We provide not only the Webmaster services, but also author several of the documents such as the Linux Networking HOWTO and Linux Consultants Guide.
We also own a significant share of the OpenDocs, LLC publishing company, which specializes in helping Open Source development projects gain recognition and secure funds for future development.
