Installing the Program
Expanding the compressed file
The DRAGRI Lite distribution file is compressed in zip format. Use an expanding tool to decompress the zip file, preserving sub-folders: res, doc, template etc. After decompressing, double-click the setup.exe file.Specifying the directory in which the program is to be installed.
During set up, you will be asked to select a directory in which the program is to be installed. If you are not sure what to do, simply click [OK] and the program will be installed in the default location, which is:c:\Program Files\DRAGRI Lite\
Agreeing to the software licensing agreement
Read the displayed software licensing agreement displayed carefully, and if you agree, click the [Agree] box and click the [Next] button.Entering your license number
After the program has been installed, DRAGRI Lite starts automatically. The DRAGRI Lite License Registration window will appear. Request your license number by clicking the [Get a license number] button, which takes you to the DRAGRI website. When you have your license number, enter it and click the [Register] button.![]()
If you have not entered a license number
You can click the [Cancel] button without entering a license number. The next time you start the program or create content, you will be requested to enter your license number. You can enter your license number at that time.
Uninstalling the Program
To uninstall the DRAGRI program, click [Start] button on the Windows Task Bar. Choose the option [Settings]-[Control panel]. Double-click the [Add/Remove Programs] icon. Select [DRAGRI Lite] from the list. Click [Add/Remove] button and follow the prompts given.If some files or directories remain in the installation directory, the uninstaller will not delete them and display a message. These files and directories may be deleted with the Explorer, if you don't need them.

When DRAGRI Lite starts, the Top Menu screen below is displayed.

If you drag the upper part of the window, you can move the window. Pressing the button
on the upper-right of the window, you can quit the program.

These buttons works as follows:
... This opens a video file.
... Pressing this button, you can capture a new video clip with a capturing device connected to your PC.
... This opens a series of images.
... This allows you to view and re-edit the previously created contents.
... Pressing [Config.] button, you can set the directory to save contents, and maximum frames of the movie to save.
Opening a video file
DRAGRI Lite can read AVI, MPEG-1, and QuickTime (you need to install QuickTime Player).

Capturing a new video clip
DRAGRI Lite can read a new video through Video for Windows compatible capturing device connected to your PC. (Compatible capture devices). DRAGRI Lite cannot capture video in MPEG-1 or DV format.
When a capturing device is recognized, the capture window below is displayed. It sometimes takes a bit seconds to initialize the device.

You can select a device from the pull-down menus under the preview screen.
Pressing [Format...] button, you can set the resolution of video. Pressing [Source...] button, you can select input channel or set the quality of image. You can enter the video file name. The default file name isC:\Program Files\DRAGRI-Lite\tmp\nv(Number).aviPlease choose a disk that has enough space. The captured video files will be stored in the directory. If the disk becomes full, you may delete unnecessary files with the Explorer.
(C:\Program Files\DRAGRI-Lite is the installation directory)The integers on the bottom-right of the window indicates the number of frames to capture per a seconds. The default value is 15 fps.
Pressing the [Start] button, start capturing. When you press any key on the keyboard or press the [End] button, you can stop capturing.
Opening a series of images
You can use a series of still images (pictures or CG images) instead of a video file. DRAGRI Lite can read image in JPEG and PNG format.
If you press [Series of images], the following window appears.

To insert an image, click [Add]. An image file selection dialog appears.

Click [...] near the top of the box to specify the directory in which the image file you wish to read in is stored.
All DRAGRI-readable images in the specified directory are displayed as thumbnails.
You can select multiple image files by first clicking the first image and then click another image file icon with the SHIFT key pressed. By doing so you will select all the files that lie between the two selected files. If you click several files while the CTRL key is pressed, all the clicked files are selected.
After you have selected the image files, click [OK].
A sorted list of the selected files is shown in a new window. If you wish to change the position of a file in the list, select the file and click either the [Up] or the [Down] button.
If you wish to delete a file, select the file and click the [Delete] button.
When you click [OK], the selected images are read in. The images are arranged in the order you have specified.

- Please choose a disk that has enough space to store the contents. The default directory is
C:\Program Files\DRAGRI-Lite\pages\If there is no such a directory, DRAGRI Lite creates it.
(C:\Program Files\DRAGRI-Lite is the installation directory)- You can entry the maximum number of frames in movie. DRAGRI Lite automatically omits frames of video with in the specified number. Default value is 50 frames.
NOTE:If the number of frames is large, the size of date becomes big, that makes viewers wait for long time to download.
