Installation

Das Installationsprogramm fragt Sie in welches Verzeichnis MatheMax Pro installiert werden soll. Sie können entweder das vorgeschlagene Verzeichnis übernehmen oder ein Verzeichnis Ihrer Wahl angeben. Falls das Verzeichnis noch nicht besteht, wird es vom Installationsprogramm erstellt.

Eine Programmgruppe wird automatisch erstellt und die Icons für MatheMax Pro darin eingerichtet.

Folgende Dateien müssen sich nach der Installation in Ihrem Zielverzeichnis befinden:

Außerdem werden im Windows-Systemverzeichnis die VB6-Runtimedateien installiert bzw. müssen separat installiert werden, falls Sie die Minimal-Installation geladen haben. Diese Dateien sind jederzeit über http://www.abc-ware.de/ ladbar.

Systemvoraussetzungen

Um eine optimale Darstellung zu gewährleisten wird eine Bildschirmauflösung von 600x800 oder höher und die Einstellung "Kleine Schriftarten" empfohlen. Zum Abspielen von Geräuscheffekten und Hintergrundmusik ist eine Soundkarte notwendig.

Zum Aufruf der Onlinehilfe ist eine HTML-Help-Installation notwendig. Bei Windows 98/2000 ist dies standardmäßig installiert, bei älteren Windows-Versionen ist eine Installation von Internet Explorer 4.0 oder höher empfehlenswert.

Das Programm

MatheMax Pro ist ein Programm zum Üben der Grundrechenarten und Zählen.

Die Rechenart ist voreinstellbar und beginnt bei einfachen Zählübungen, Addition mit Symbolen und geht bis zu Addition und Subtraktion mit verschiedenen Zahlenbereichen sowie Multiplikation und Division mit definierten Faktoren. So kann man gezielt bestimmte Lernstufen trainieren. Ein Lösungsknopf gibt Hilfestellung und zeigt auf Klick das richtige Ergebnis.

Die optionale Protokollierung aller Aufgaben und Eingaben in einem Logfile erlaubt volle Kontrolle über den Lernfortschritt. Die Bedienung ist einfach und wird auch von den Jüngsten schon nach kurzer Übung beherrscht.

Alle Ereignisse werden optional durch digitale Geräuscheffekte begleitet.

Installation

The installation program will ask you which directory MatheMax Pro shall be installed in. You can either accept the default directory or enter a directory of your choice. If the directory does not exist already, it will be created by the installation program.

After the installation, your target directory has to contain the following files:

Depending on which version you downloaded you'll additionally need the VB6 runtimes which are available at ABC-Ware's homepage

A program group will be created and the icons for MatheMax Pro will be added automatically.

Environment

For optimal results a screen resolution of 600x800 or higher and setting "Small fonts" is recommended. To play the soundeffects and background music a soundcard is necessary.

To use the onlinehelp you'll need the HTMLHelp system. With Windows version 98/2000 this is installed by default, on older versions the installation of Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher is recommended.

Introduction

MatheMax Pro is a challenging program for practicing the basic operations of arithmetic.

The calculation method is preselectable. It includes simple counting exercises, addition with symbols, addition/subtraction with different number ranges, and multiplication/ division with defined factors. One can thus practice different learning skills. A solution button shows the correct result.

Optional logfile for full tracking of learning results. Operation is easy to learn even for the youngest.

Events are accompanied by optional sound effects.
