ASPI Installation

After install the Efiresoft CD Ripper , if the program can not  find your CD ROMs  , you will have to install the ASPI driver . Efiresoft CD Ripper  need ASPI driver to communicate with SCSI (and ATAPI) CD-ROM devices.  

In this case , please follow the following instruction  to install the ASPI driver.

ASPI Installation Instruction:

1 . Click the following url  to download  ASPI Driver  from Adaptec

       Download from Adaptec HTTP server   or    Download from Adaptec FTP server      (Visit the ASPI homepage)

2  .Extract the download file to a certain directory , for example ,C:\Adaptec\aspi

3 . Install the aspi driver .

     For Windows 98, NT 4.0, Me and 2000 :    Run ASPIINST.EXE file to install the ASPI layer .

      For WinXP  :  Copy the Install_XP.bat  to your extracted directory , and  Run the  file to install the ASPI layer .

      For WinXP Itanium processors : Copy the  Install_XP_Itanium.bat  to your extracted directory , Run the file to install the ASPI.

      For Window 3.x , 95 :  Not support .
