Installation
Net Update can be installed into any directory. All the program settings are contained within the installation directory. No registry settings are made during the installation process without the consent of the installer. No files are installed into any of the Windows system directories. In fact, Net Update only needs one file, nuManager.exe, to run successfully. However, it is recommended that all the supporting files also be installed. As Net Update does not rely on any registry settings or system files, it can be installed into any directory... even a directory on portable media, such as a USB key. When installed, Net Update occupies less than 1MB of disk space, plus the space required to hold the update information files. When launched, Net Update will consume on average of about 4MB of RAM. Net Update can be installed on any computer running Win95 through Windows XP. That's it! You're now ready to start creating application updates. Context Sensitive Help |
