This
demo gives You a brief feeling how to read in data from a file and display it.
You can switch channels on and off, make a time zooming to take a closer look
at the curves. With the pan functions, (in time and value direction), is it
easy to find the most interesting part of the curves.
In this
demo You can import values from an attached data file, 'Demo1_data.txt' and the
data in teh file is stored as a comma separated file.
In this file is the decimal separator is ','
(the Swedish standard for this), but the demo program has an inbuilt function
to take care of this even if You are running a system with different setup.
To test
the function of this demo, start the compiled program 'TGTrend_Demo1.exe'
and select 'Open data file' from the File-menu. Select the file
'Demo1_data.txt' and start importing. After importing all values, (takes only a
few seconds), no curves are displayed. You have to enable them. This can be
done either by double clicking on the items in the radio group "Channel
Selection" or by click the "Enable" in the "Channel x"
group box.
If You
have questions or suggestion regarding the TGTrend component or the demo
program, send them by email to gpsoft@ueab.net.
