Format / INDUG

Format is the magazine, out monthly and produced by Format Publications, free for subscribers to the usergroup INDUG (INdependent UserGroup). This caters for Spectrum and SAM owners, and more recently, all Z80 computers, or so they claim.

There are two types of membership - full and associate.

Associate membership
means you get a newssheet four times a year, a few pages long, discounts from some other clubs around and a technical helpline that doesn't cost anything but the phone call. At present (March 1994) it costs 4 UK pounds, but I suggest you write first as they usually allow your first year free. You can also buy a copy of each month's Format for 1.50 UK pounds each and back issues are available, although if you require the older issues they have to be bought as a full volume for that year.
Full membership
gets you everything Associate members get(except the Associate News), more help and the copy of Format every month which includes sections on programming, letters, classified adverts (which are free to members), and a bunch of vouchers when you join for more discounts still (only when used with Format, of course!)
