OpenVZ consists of a kernel, user-level tools and templates. Kernel and tools are needed to install OpenVZ, and templates are needed to create containers.
For kernel and utilities installation instructions, see wiki:Quick installation. For information about templates, read this document.
Directory /current contains symlinks to all the latest utilities and template metadata for easier download.
If you are using yum, you can add openvz yum repository by putting openvz.repo file to your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory. For more info, see wiki:Yum.
Note that all RPM packages from OpenVZ project should be
signed by our GPG key. You can get the public key from
here,
here,
here or here
and import it to your RPMDB using rpm --import filename
