Anyone in Scandinavia with an xDSL connection to the Internet? Then please send me an e-mail (see above for the address) describing your experiences with xDSL and OS/2. You're welcome to use Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or English. If you have some good points, I may ask for your permission to quote your email in this column, in particular if you decide to use English.
To the best of my knowledge there are currently two Danish ISP's making it possible for Danes to use an xDSL connection to the Internet with OS/2 as the gateway, namely CyberCity and World Online. Another option is Telia Stofa's StofaNet using an existing cable TV connection (available in parts of Aalborg, Århus, Horsens, Sønderborg, Odense, Næstved, Helsingør and Sorø).
If you have experiences with other kinds of cable connections to the
Internet, or if you have links to other Scandinavian ISP's supporting OS/2
in this way, please let me know. There is an article on these types of
connections on MInt.
Program updates from last month:

introducing a new installer.
IBM has released FixPak 41 for Warp 3 in a Danish translation, while there are
no news about translations to the other Scandinavian languages, nor about
new Scandinavian FixPaks for Warp 4.
F/X Communication's Internet dialer InJoy has been updated to version 2.3 and now supports IPSec like F/X Communication's other Internet products.
Leif-Erik Larsen's Norton Commander

Please do not hesitate to send me any other news from around Scandinavia.
