IBM RGB52x Ramdac/Clock drivers updated. And, two Questions

I am in the process of committing a new version of the IBM RGB52x series
ramdac/clock drivers (currently probably only works on the 524 and maybe
the 526, I only have a 524 to test).

I am now considering it beta-level =) As in "it seems to work perfect
for me, but I haven't got that many other people to test it"

Question #1:

How are Color tables supposed to be set? It doesnt' appear that there is
any palette when 8bpp mode is turned on.

Question #2:

See if anyone here can think of a reason for this:

When I have 32bpp mode, everything appears perfect. When I switch over
to 16 bpp mode, two columns appear, both with the same content (the
screen is drawn twice at half width)

I can get around this by upping the DDotDiv value in the S3 driver,
making the 16 bpp mode work (apparently) perfect, but making the 32 bpp
not work anymore.

8 bpp mode doesn't appear to work under any circumstances, although this
may be because of black-on-black
