Hi Andrew, hi *,
I have an idea about a small meta-target, emulating a text target on
another target.
We don't have such yet, do we?
As our character font is 8x8 pixels wide, such a target would 
open an x*8/y*8 graphics target, and draw (with characters or 8x8 solid
blocks or '*') there.
I think this would give  a good test bed for textmode applications.

What do you think?
Doable?
Difficult?
Worth it?
