Not really... If the backend has some mapping mechanism (like kgicon in
Linux loadkeys), then it is legal to map say Alt+Shift+F4 to 0x0003 or
whatever ...
This is then actually what the user expects. I for example expect the key
right of the "T" to be mapped to "Z", while you probably want "Y".
