VNC protocol spec is found at <http://www.orl.co.uk/vnc/protocol.html>;
in PDF format, FYI.

I don't know how the two protocols you mentioned actually work, but on the
other hand VNC is mostly client-driven (for client simplicity and low
bandwidth usage), e.g. client requests parts of framebuffer, so it might not
work if you want to do a strictly send-everything-straight-to-client model.
