Stefan asked whether to replace the Trio Clock driver with his new one.

IMHO: Send it to those who run a Trio (Jon comes to mind first)
or to the mailing list, wait for two days for the tests, and then
commit it.
THere is still the possibility to get older revisions from CVS :-)
