Oh well.
Who mentioned yesterday that ggi 0.0.9 is still lying around?
Jeff, this is not against you, in no way.
Dear web and ftp admins: kick that stuff onto the attic!
Jeff, please get the latest development snapshot from
ftp://ftp.ggi-project.org/pub/ggi/ggi-snapshots/
untar it, and install libggi. It works fine with X, so if you have
X installed, that gives a good first testbed. Try the demos.
while (doesntwork){Ask questions here, try the tips you get}
Compile the kernel for frame buffer support. See
http://www.tahallah.demon.co.uk/programming/HOWTO-framebuffer-1.0pre1-4.html
Then go to the kgicon subdirectory and read the readme.
Until you have done all that, could someone (Andrew?) please
comment if this was correct and continue the instructions ;-) ?
Hartmut.
Oh BTW: Jeff, what graphics hardware do you have?
