As long as the binary only driver writer doesn't copy anything where the
copyright holder restricts the copying of that code (and we don't for KGI
drivers), RMS and his Free Software Foundation cannot stop them.

You just need to alter the Hurd console server (or whatever they have), and
make it accept the KGI drivers. It will probably be very easy once Andy's
fixed SUIDKGI - you can use that. I plan to get debian-HURD sometime so I
could possibly help.
