KGI - PLEASE TEST IT!!!

Hi __ALL__,

This is about kgi-0.9a(lpha) (formerly/still known as Degas/KGI, but
renamed to avoid more confusion).

I haven't had much response (one from Jon) about the new compatibility
layer yet. I again ask anyone willing to contribute to download the
sources from my homepage and test if it works with his/her configuration.

I know it has some flaws, but I need feedback about things people
miss, things it breaks, things it has problems with.

ANYONE WILLING TO CONTRIBUTE, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

Get it from http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~sse/ggi/degas-990307.tar.gz
try to install it:

... untar a plain 2.2.1 kernel in /usr/src

tar xzf degas-990307.tar.gz
cd degas
make
cd kgi/Linux
make

... configure/compile/install/boot new kernel.

Thank you all for testing,

			Steffen
