Tell me if I am wrong:
I need a driver pretty fast working with libggi -2-,  so I shoud rather
a framebuffer device, and write a driver for it.

By the way I can boot with kgi :) (kernel 2.2.[2,4])
see the splash 
yellowish cursor 
if network 
        freeze when loading eth0
else
        work pretty fine
        'reset ' necessary after midnight commander
