cvs checkout degas, constantly failing

	Hello, i have been trying to get the latest source via cvs, for 2 days
	now, i find that cvs will only get the first 3-4 files, then lockup
	i am pretty sure this isn't a problem on my end because i have
	no problem getting source from other cvs repositories..
