I plan on implementing 2d acceleration on as many cards as I can lay my
hands on.  I first need to finish and submit the the BlitOp code I've
been sporadically working on.  Now that I've finally submitted my last
chapter for The RedHat Linux Bible, I should be able to get more time in
on GGI hacking.  I do have a few other projects on my plate (technical
book review for Prentice Hall, programming job for an insurance company,
and a four day camping trip) but those should not cut into my time nearly
as much as the book did.  I assume hardware specs for 2d accel are
generally more available than 3d?
