Thats my question too. Will it (fbcon) use dali or degas drivers? I've heard
both from people. I don't really care if the driver format changes, as long
as they are removable (so I can write drivers without rebooting whenever
they don't work).

I think so =) I'm choosing between either a Banshee or a Matrox G200 for my
next card. It mostly depends on Matrox releasing specs on their new chipset.

Daryll Strauss is supposedly trying to get 3dfx to release information on
the 2d part of the banshee chipset to the public, basically he's trying to
get as much info as possible released.
