We need to change these very soon. Once kgi becomes part of the
standard kernel and we reference our web page in the code we are going to
have people coming to look at are web pages for answers. Right now the web
pages are setup for us developers. We should redesign the web pages for
the standard user new to ggi. Move the current web pages to a developement
section. Have bug report section etc. This is needed because we need to
promote ggi. I have ideas on how to setup these web pages. Email me or
discuss how we should setup the web pages. Remember their are going to be
new users who will have problems installing and configuring. Also outside
developers who will contribute diffs. Anothe possible idea is to setup a
 news group just for ggi.

I think we need to ask people on one of the GIMP mailing lists to join a web
page design team, we need some professional looking images. Announce that the
pages will probably visited a lot (simply because of arguments that occurred
months ago because of rumours), and that they will receive credit and
publicity for the images (ask what copyrights they need and try to work out
some arrangement with respondees). I think this should get some skilled
graphic-designers interested. All you need to do then is convince them.

Of course if there are skilled graphic designers already involved with the
GGI-project then this is all academic. :)
