Small note, but this appears to be a bug in dali's handling of this:
The shift key should not *unlock* the casplock key, but to temporarily
reverse the effect of it (for regular letter keys).  In dali, using a
kgi kernel, if you hit shift, your capslock is off when you let go of
shift.
