GGI & Irix 6.2

Has anyone managed to install GGI on an Irix 6.2 system?

I was able to make and install it (after patching one Makefile and
setting a link for a header file...).
Anyway, *all* demos give a segfault:

./textdemo
15418:textdemo: rld: Warning: Version Search Suppressed Because Object
libgii.so in liblist has non-sgi interface version (0.0)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Any suggestions are welcome.
