New Voodoo3 cards

This may be a little off topic, but does anyone here know if the
new Voodoo3 cards are going to be compatible with the existing
linux glide drivers?  I can't find anything definitive on the 3dfx
web site.  Also, any word on 3.x glide for linux (it looks to me
like 2.4 is the most recent).  I'm trying to decide if I should
put an advanced order in for a Voodoo3 2000 PCI.
