Sounds like a missing file for autoconf. Thomas ?
Oh - IIRC Thomas is offline for about a week or so ... I'll see if I can 
generate the file and commit.

Yeah. Very alpha, not useable yet anyway.

Yeah, more or less how it is supposed to be. gii and ggi are pretty stable.
Rest is in flux.
