Much of this code is allready in place in the SGI Linux port, but I
don't think it is from IRIX, but written from scratch by Miguel Icaza
and others. I believe they have the native IRIX X server running on top
of the kernel interface without recompiling the X server. Did you look
at www.linux.sgi.com? Check the FAQ entry or the status page, especially
"Sep 21, 1997: Miguel Manages to get Xsgi running on top of SGI/Linux
[...]".
