I would say the G200 engine is more or less a complete change with regards
to 3d acceleration, since the previous cards have had little or non of
this at all, redesigning it completely would be best for a card like the
G200 since it is targeted specifically at 3d market unlike the older
MGA2x64 and 1x64 chipsets. 2d wise they probably havn't changed too much
though..

No I don't have much infrmation, and none on G[1..2]00, it *might* get
realesed this fall according to Mr Rossi at developer relations (The
question I asked was not about this at all, but the answer hinted towards
this)
