 Ok, i tried this and got a working 640x400x1 vga framebuffer. WHOA!!! kgicon 
runs!!

 Anyway, i tried 320x200x8 and it looks fsck:ed up but doesn't crash anything.

 Mystique still locks solid though. Matthias? :)
