Well, ggidoom, warp and others aren't part of the CVS tree, so publishing
patches won't hurt and will help testing the new scheme :)

I think so.. It'll provide a testbed (Linus said he was "testing memory
management" playing doom.. i'll test the new directbuffer scheme.. :-)

Hmm, I thought Alpha's were big-endian. My mistake. I own one, but
haven't done much programming on it yet .. (one's got only one
life, eh? :)
