Yeah I noticed that finally -- when I first skimmed the file I didn't notice
that the words "support for loadable fonts" were under "known problems/todo" 
not under a copyright section :)

It also sets the Sequencer mask to 0x3, uses 0xb8000, and
doesn't export the font tables as part of the framebuffer 
in text mode.  So there's no easy workaround from userspace.  Sigh.
I guess we wait on that...
