Yes, Linuxdoc is a badly designed SGML application.

I already have a DocBook-to-man converter working (it will take each
RefEntry and write manpage output). I'll release it once I get libggi.sgml
into DocBook format and tested it enough.

Take a look at DocBook -- it's much better than Linuxdoc for technical
documentation.
