I will do so:

1. Create a directory you will write your driver.
2. Copy a generic driver to your directory.
3. Change the hardware-dependent code-lines to your card is required.
4. Test your changes.
5. Tell others about your changes and known bugs.
6. Include patches (could include bugfixes and improvements) from others.
7. Test the changes.
8. Repeat steps 3 to 7 until your driver is ready.
