Yes - I checked that. Matroxfb contains a few hundred lines of code to
achieve that effect. It sets the hwcursor property to true and then handles
all that stuff itself. It uses the RAMDAC cursor for that effect.

Hmm - not worth the bother for kgicon IMO, but if someone wants to add it,
feel free ...
