The Microsoft term is correct usage of the words, but the INDUSTRY phrase
for it is "Chroma key."  This is what every video broadcast engineer will
know it as, and ... well... that's what it is!  :-)

Because it's easier to say "Chromakey."  :)  It only has 3 syllables.
"Blitting with transparency" has 7.  And it takes less space to type,
especially if the term appears in documentation rather often.
