Use the generic driver. Though the multisync drivers should do as well, but
...

> bash$ cd degas/kgicon/util/setmon
> bash$ ./setmon
> /etc/ggi/kgicon.mon: No such file or directory

Copy sample.multisync there and edit it to match your monitor.
